Christmas Eve

This Christmas Eve was filled with a lot of firsts and some really great memories! Earlier in the week Scott was watching Pioneer Woman who was making these fantastic looking Cinnamon rolls, he suggested we try to make them- and I'm always up for a baking adventure so we planned to do this together on our Christmas Eve. The recipe was pretty lengthy and we gave away 5 trays of rolls because the batch was so huge- but the rolls were delicious and this is something we will do again next year for sure!

Next up was Christmas Eve service, it was so nice to get to go to our church on Christmas eve. Bailey loved the service and was a dancing queen in the front row. Her dress was handmade by Nana and was absolutely beautiful!
Next up for Christmas eve was a fun night with the Richters. Unfortunately for Uncle Steve he was called into work at the last minute- but it made for a very fun and memorable evening for the rest of us when we met up with him. First we headed over to Grammie and Popo's for dinner and a few gifts.

A few days before Christmas Jaxson and Bailey were supposed to go to the family skate night at the Cedar Park Center- but Jaxson had a 24 hour stomach bug so we weren't able to go. When we got to the Cedar Park Center to visit Uncle Steve on Christmas Eve he had a special surprise for Jaxson and Bailey- he had Christmas music going and the kids got to go onto the ice. It was awesome, Jaxson said it was "the best gift ever"!!!

After we had our fun time on the ice we went up to the area where the suites are to finish opening up gifts and finish off our Christmas Eve.
It was a bummer for Uncle Steve that he had to work, but that was sure a memorable Christmas Eve- we were thankful he did work :)
