End of Season & All Stars

What a fun season for the Braves! They fought hard throughout the season and were by far the most improved team of all in the 8U division! Jaxson had such a fantastic year and we loved every minute of watching him play and improve. AND....he was selected for All Stars so the fun season continues!! This past week/weekend was the end of season tournament & closing ceremonies. The closing ceremonies included food, fun, live music & a raffle/silent auction to support a family who recently experienced a tragic loss. The weather leading up to this day was not great- in fact that morning was nothing but rain! But God knew what we needed to do at this event to support this family and an hour before it all started the skies cleared up and the weather was nothing but GORGEOUS! Bailey was so excited to ride in the barrel train...the pictures don't show her happiness (this was nap time after all)- but I squeezed in there with her and away we went.

Jaxson got a ball signed by all of the coaches, a end of season tournament, pin for excellent academic standing, metal & all stars trophy!

Bailey and I were so lucky to get a spot in the stands. I brought games to keep her busy, but she wanted to listen to the music and clap for everyone. It was so cute!

These are all of the kids that were selected for the All Stars team that Jaxson will be on.

We were lucky enough to win this Yeti in the raffle! What a fun day for all of us!!

Life Lately

Well there goes another month since my last blog post. Wow we are busy! 50% of our week is spent at the baseball fields- and watching this guy grow in baseball makes it all worth it! How stinkin' cute is he!! Love him to pieces!

One day we were out running errands and the boys wanted Freebirds and I was craving Pei Wei. So Bailey and I had a little lunch with just the two of us. FYI- the new Pei Wei menu isn't great, I won't be going back anytime soon! How cute is she trying chop sticks...it lasted 10 seconds!

Jaxson had a school project to make a robot. Meet Flex...He was made of every toilet paper and paper towel roll available in the house...and a bunch of tape that said "flex" on it...hence his very appropriate name. We had a lot of fun with this project and Jaxson was very proud of it!

This is Jaxson's best friend Branson- he's the sweetest boy ever! The boys had a blast playing in the pool...if you couldn't tell from the pictures :)

Bailey and her pink boots...this girl will be rockin' those pink boots all year round!

Muffins with mom:

Mother's day was so sweet, my family sure does spoil me! How precious are all of these cards and flowers. What a wonderful way to start my day, I sure do love being their mommy!

Laughs before we headed to church

My request for the day was to be outside if possible. The clouds were off and on but there was enough heat to enjoy being outside. I sure loved my time with Jaxson while Bailey was taking a nap. He has the biggest heart and I just love when we can sit and visit about whatever he wants to talk about...which right now is all baseball.

I'm so thankful for this guy and making this day so special. He sure does spoil me! I love this picture!

These two are obsessed with Play dough! I love how its something they can play with together and have fun. Bailey insists on combining all colors & making one ugly color- but who cares!

This week we kicked off the Braves end of season tournament. They won the first game and if mother nature will quit it with the rain we'll get to see how the tournament will end up. The team has done such a fantastic job going from what started off as a rough season to a really fantastic season. We spend more time at these fields than at home right now, but we wouldn't have it any other way! Jaxson is in heaven out there and he's really an amazing baseball player!! The comments from coaches on other teams about Jaxson have been so incredible- we are so proud of him!

This week was Jaxson's week to do the "Who are you?" board in his classroom. We really had fun getting together the pictures and Jaxson really loved showing off his tropheys to the kids in his class. I was able to have lunch with him this week, now that I will be working from home more I'm really looking forward to more lunches with this little man.

So there you have it- a month of quick updates from this side.
