Halloween 2010

The year for Halloween Jaxson got to pick out his own costume- the main goal of that was to make sure he LOVED whatever it was and there would be NO drama come Halloween day. That goal was a huge success. His selection was this really cute Lightning McQueen Pit Crew costume.

He wore the costume multiple times between an event at my work, an event at his school and tonight- we certainly got our money out of it!

These are all of the cute kiddos that we went out with tonight- Jaxson NOT wanting to be in the picture should have been clue number one that he wasn't quite into the upcoming events.

He enjoyed daddy's shoulders and a few houses, but overall he wasn't as full of the Halloween Spirit as the rest of the group.

He did a full running blast to the first house, but after that he kind of lost the spunk for the rest of the trip.

Which is too bad because this trailer was his "Chariot" for the night.

Overall he had just what he needed for a Happy Halloween.

Grammie & Popo got Jaxson this sucker on their last vacation that is almost as big as his head!

Pumpkin Carving Party

Last night we went to a pumpkin carving party at our neighbors house, which like all parties they do it was a blast! I joined in the carving of the pumpkin with the group and I am pretty excited about the end result!



This little man had a blast too!

The busy times!

This weekend kicked off what will soon become a complete blur. We have the craziest, busiest schedule possible for the next several months. There are a few slow moments in there but I know those weekends will soon be filled. This next weekend is jammed packed with socializing and parties...but just a few days later we'll be flying on the "big airplane" to Colorado for 5 days! To say we're excited is an understatement, the thought of actually having a vacation seems foreign...but its just around the corner and we are SO ready! All three of us are going and we can't wait to create and share these memories as a family.

This weekend Jaxson had his hours filled with fun times with lots of friends. Today we attempted to get him to take a nap...he put up a good fight, but the buzz of watching Nascar with daddy put him right to sleep!

Today I attempted a recipe I've been eyeing for about a year now and it was yum, yum, yummy!

I'm pretty certain this pumpkin roll would make any non-pumpkin lover change their mind!

This is my third recipe with pumpkin just this month...I love this time of the year!

The Debut Of.....

Well it's about time that I got around to this debut. This has been in the works in my heart and my prayers for some time. I finally decided to make something of it happen beyond just a hope for my future so here I am at the beginning.
The first step was getting the new blog kicked off here. The next step was to get these business cards in place.

So where does this go from here? I'd love to say that I had the perfect plan, but really who does? Like most things I think there's a trial and error phase- hopefully less on the error side. Overall I'm trusting in God that my prayers and my heart are in the right place and going into this with no expections!

Too cute!

Last night we had the Warrens over for dinner. They have this little cutie Reagan who is a little less than a month older than Jaxson.

You would think these two were best friends and saw each other regularly! They were so cute playing together and had so much fun. It was fun hanging out with them and seeing the two interact. While it took forever to make our crazy schedules work it certainly won't be the last time we'll have them over!

And how cute are they here giving a hug and a little kiss good bye!! Reagan was practically chasing Jaxson around with her lips puckered up for a big smooch it was so cute!!


If this is his first girlfriend she's a keeper!

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we headed out to Marble Falls for our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch. After the disaster of 2009 we knew exactly what NOT to do with a toddler and I am happy to report that we had a fantastic trip this year!!
Aunt Nikki was in town and we were so excited that she wanted to go with us. Jaxson was all smiles while we were there- I think I caught more pictures of the back of his head than the front.

This year he was big enough to make a short trip into the corn maze, maybe next year we'll venture into the Texas Maze.

He was all smiles for the horse ride with Rimrock.

We attempted a family picture...hmmm, not such a good attempt!

The flower field was gorgeous and it was so funny listening to Jaxson smell the flowers. He's quite the noisy smeller.

Sat for only a short minute to smile
And for some reason favored these white pumpkins, we did get two small white ones for him.
All in all it was a great trip!!

Baby Cullen

Today I took pics of Baby Cullen..."technically" my first clients....yippee! Where do I even start with this absolute cutie? From his gorgeous eyes, to his adorable cheeks, to his never ending smile...oh and lets not forget his fantastic eye lashes (jealous!)...this cutie was amazing!!
