Pumpkin Carving

This past weekend we carved our pumpkins. In the past Jaxson has been so grossed out by the whole process that he gives up after his first touch, this year he was a champ and got into it. Bailey was completely fearless to the pumpkin goo and even gave it a taste test a few times...gross!

The only problem with Bailey is once we got the pumpkin cleaned out, she wanted to put it all back in.
The end result is three really cute pumpkins, all uniquely different.

Outtakes..

I think its awesome to look at the outtakes from the many pictures I snap and well....laugh! There's nothing more frustrating, exhausting and down right funny about trying to wrangle these three to do something cute at the EXACT..SAME...MOMENT! So lets take a look at the pics that were the failures...

After ALL of that...its a good thing we got a few keepers :)

Cousins & Great Grandparents

Tonight we had the family over for a fun dinner and a nice dinner with the Great Grandparents who are on their way down to South Texas. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to snap some cute pics with the kids while they were here.

Trunk R Treat

Friday night was the Trunk R Treat event at Bailey's school. They has such an awesome turn out of participants and such a great showing from the community vendors too. We had a little rough start with being happy in our costumes....

But Hannah cheered up our little Sleeping Beauty and she was ready to enjoy the fun night with her brother the Army man by her side.
We all got a good serving of sugar...
Both of our cuties entered the costume contest- they didn't win, but we thought they were the cutest and should have :)
The Trunk R Treat event was a success! Hopefully by Halloween Bailey will be more excited about her beautiful costume...and be ready for costume number 2 for Jaxson! What a fun night!

Lowes Trip

Halloween spirit?

I'm not certain Jaxson is full of the Halloween spirit....his classroom observation in the "write the room" project shows he found..."too many pumpkins"! HA! Love that kid!

Pumpkin Patch 2013

Saturday we headed out to Marble Falls for our annual Pumpkin Patch trip. This year we took along our neighbor "a.k.a. adopted daughter" Hannah. The temps were a little brisk but the skies were clear and made for a wonderful trip!

Our community group friends were also there enjoying the fun! How cute are these kids!
The line for the horses were nice and short so we didn't have to wait long for these beauties!
We are so lucky to live so close to such a fun place. The beautiful weather certainly brought out the crowds but we planned well and go there early. We left with a 25 lb pumpkin, smiles and memories- a successful day in my book!
