Sprinkler

Jaxson has come a LONG way in his comfort level for sprinklers. He used to run around them instead of running through them. Year after year we try more and more and he's finally started to love them....okay...a lot!!

Bailey also enjoyed the time outside! What a great, great weekend it has been! We've enjoyed our weekend so much....back to work tomorrow...so the fun blog posts will end :(

I hope everyone had a safe Memorial Day weekend and took a moment to remember the real reason we celebrate this holiday!

Mornings

After Bailey eats in the morning she is SO happy! Most mornings are a lot like this video, her making a lot of noise- we LOVE listening to her little voice. A lot of times Jaxson will hear her when he's upstairs and coming running down to talk to her. It's seriously the cutest thing, he loves her so much!! This video was taken at 6:45 am!!

Sprinkler Fun

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at a awesome sprinkler park. I had taken Jaxson here last summer, and was so excited to have an afternoon when we could all go together. I hoped by going on a Friday afternoon it wouldn't be too full- and it wasn't which was great! Jaxson of course had a blast! We had so much fun watching him run around and enjoy his time there. We will certainly be making this a regular spot to visit for the hot summer days ahead!

Bailey and I found a little shaded area and hung out while the other two played in the water. It'll be fun next summer when Bailey can get out there and run around too!

Oh Jaxson....

Life with a four year old is quite interesting- our days are filled with answering LOTS of questions, trying to fill every waking moment with something entertaining, listening to lots of stories and most of all lots of laughs! I wish I was better about writing this stuff down, but here's a few funny ones from the past week:

While putting Jaxson to bed he tells Scott "I like your mommy and daddy, and I like mommy's mommy and daddy". To which Scott answers "that's great buddy, do you like me and mommy". After a quick pause he replies "Um, I like astronauts"!

While traveling to Target Jaxson asks me "mommy how old are you and daddy". I replied "we're 32 buddy". And Jaxson says "Oh I thought you were 90".

While visiting some new friends with our church group Jaxson meets a new little boy Austin, while walking away to go play the little boy asks Jaxson what his name is, and Jaxson replies "it's Jaxson and I already told you that, I'm not going to tell you again".


OH JAXSON....it is never a dull moment with you and we are so thankful for you laughter!! I'd like to also note that this little smarty pants will officially be moving into the Pre-K class at school on Tuesday!!
