Ring around the Rosie

We have this cute little toy from when Jaxson was a baby, we're using it to help with tummy time. Jaxson had fun doing "Ring around the Rosie" with Bailey today.

First Day of School

Today was Bailey's first day of school. To say I was emotional about today is an understatement. I knew she would be in good hands but I would miss her like crazy! Our usual morning would consist of sleeping in until 9 or 10, so this mornings wake up at 6:30 did not bring a happy girl. She was not interested in eating and just wanted to go back to sleep.

The whole family arrived for her drop off and Jaxson was on cloud nine to finally have her at "his school". One of the sweet ladies who works there that we've known for years was in the room and SHE started to cry when she saw me. That did it and I broke down.

I headed to work and counted the hours until my lunch and headed back there. She'd refused to eat all morning but had several good naps. I got her to eat a little bit but she still wasn't interested. I just had to remember that she won't starve and she'll eat when she's hungry. The afternoon went by fast and I left not a minute after 4 to go get the kiddos. Bailey gave me a huge smile when I got there! She'd had a good nap and even ate in the afternoon. When we got home she was all smiles and cooing away- telling me about her day :)

We survived day one...man am I glad there's only two more days before the weekend.

Two Month Stats

Yesterday Bailey has her two month check up. Here's her stats:
Weight: 11 lbs 13oz (75%)
Length: 23 inches (75%)
Head: 40cm (90%)
She had to get several vaccinations and did great. I felt so bad for her, but she quickly went to sleep after we left the doctors office and took several long naps throughout the day. She's right on track developmentally and overall doing great.

Easter Part 2

We finished off our big Easter day with dinner at the Richters. Jaxson had fun at his next egg hunt.

The cascarones were smashed on the willing victims. The rest of us laughed from the sidelines!!

Jaxson had fun playing with his frizbee and bubble gun that the Easter bunny left.

Our afternoon was great and we enjoyed our time at the Richters. Despite enough chocolate to feed a neighborhood from the egg hunts throughout the day, Jaxson managed to crash on the ride home. Always a good sign of a fun filled day.

Easter Part 1

We had a wonderful Easter this year! We started off the day by having a brunch at our house. It was my moms birthday and we didn't want her to have to cook so we all took care of the meal for her.

We had a our bounce house up and a fun egg hunt for the boys. Bailey slept through all of the fun.

Ian did great hunting for eggs- next year these two will have Bailey to share the eggs with.

It's not really easy to get Jaxson to hold Bailey in a way that doesn't upset her- so this is pretty much as good as it gets. They both looked super cute in their Easter outfits! 

We had a great Easter morning with my family. We certainly are blessed!!

Saturday Fun

Nikki has been in town from Colorado and we've been loving spending as much time as possible with her. We had a lot of fun and laughs last night with my family. It's so great to have all of the family here and watching the kids play together. Ian has been so fun to watch grow and he certainly brings good laughs with his big smiles and wild personality.
