I love being outside with these two
I love watching the love of a brother and sister
I love how perfect they are
I love watching him love her
I love seeing her change daily
I love every moment she smiles
I love every inch of her perfect little self
I love having these moments to LOVE!!!
Yesterday was a fun day for everyone! While Scott was out golfing with the neighbor Jaxson, Bailey and I had a fun day at the park. We packed a special picnic lunch and headed over to the new Play for All park in Round Rock.
The weather was perfect and we had a great time! Jaxson had the biggest smile the entire time we were there and had one speed...running!
Who ever came up with the concept of this place is genius!
The whole park is fit for kids of all ages, and Jaxson is at the perfect age for all of it!
It was so great watching him take it all in and enjoy our afternoon together!

It's just crazy how much these two look alike! I think this pictures of Jaxson is right around the same age as Bailey is right now. Man these two are so incredibly cute! I'm a little bias here but I'm the mom so I can be :)
Jaxson's class is having a horse race at the end of the week and we've been working on our homework to prepare for the races.

Next was my job to work on "accessorizing it"... my part of the job took some creativity as the directions weren't really clear. Pinterest helped a lot!!
Adding the hair was quite the project...you know in all of my free time...
The end result is pretty cute and will certainly do the job. Jaxson has proudly named his horse Thunder Lightning

This past week Bailey started cooing, it is the cutest thing! At first it would kind of scare her when it would happen, but now it is more regular. She loves laying on her changing table and staring up at her sunburst on the wall. We get the best faces and sounds from her at that time.
This past weekend was also another major milestone as she started smiling. Her first "real smile" was for her daddy which was such a special thing for him. We actually caught it on video, which was even more perfect. Her sweet smiles are more regular now and we are enjoying seeing that gummy little mouth!

Today our sweet little Bailey is one month old! WOW!! She is such a sweet baby and we are so in love with her. She truly completes our family! 
In the last week she's had a growth spurt and I'm guessing is somewhere around 9lbs but I'm not sure. She has a few little rolls on her upper legs, but is still pretty slim overall. She has a few newborn outfits that still fit her but we've branched into some of the outfits that are a size up. She has really long feet and long fingers.
Bailey's eyes are still a beautiful blue and we hope she will keep those blue eyes. She loves laying on the floor, on the bed, on the couch- anywhere on her back and just kicking around and checking everything out. She takes several really long naps throughout the day, but isn't really on a schedule. At night she sleeps for 4-5 hour stretches between feedings which is such a huge blessing. Bailey still has a thick head of hair, but has a section in the back that always seems to stick up. Scott has nicknamed her his little peacock. She will randomly smile, but hasn't "officially" smiled at us. Last night she had her first little "coo" when Jaxson was playing with her and we look forward to hearing more from her little voice.
This past month has been so great, we've adjusted so easily to having a second child. It's amazing how you can have so much love for your kids. We are so blessed and thankful for our sweet Bailey and excited to see what this next month will bring.
I love that it is so gorgeous outside to sit on the porch with my sweet girl and go on walks with her. She loves being outside, which is exactly how Jaxson was as an infant. 
Jaxson loves reading to Bailey and the cutest thing is she loves it when he reads to her. Here's a few special moments I captured of him reading to his sister.
