Outside

Jaxson absolutly loves to be outside! Thankfully this week with the beautiful Texas weather we've taken him on a wagon ride each night when we get home- he loves it. After we get home he likes to roam around the garage, the flowerbeds or just scoping out the yard. Yesterday our neighbors dog Storm was playing "peek-a-boo" through the fence-he thought that was pretty funny! Storm's head is about the size of our dogs- but that didn't seem to phase him. He LOVES dogs- our dogs don't love him as much as he would like though.

We played this song at our wedding & I think the words to this song sing so true to love on this Valentine's Day.
But I also think the words go even further- yesterday was my last day at Dell and Monday I start a new job, a new field, a new everything- I heard this song on the radio today & it made me remember that no matter what change we make in our life, no matter what is troubling our heart, our minds or our lives- if we remember that God is there for us we will never lose site of the path in our lives.
I was holding Jaxson when I heard this song & it made me think of the love that a parent has for their child- that no matter what tomorrow will bring- we will always be here for them.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day from our little cupid.

It's hard to believe that last Valentine's Day he was such a tiny little peanut.

The Sandbox

We have horseshoe pits in our backyard- but today Jaxson decided to turn one of them into a sandbox. He was practically bathing in the sand & rolling in it- he loved it! He was a total mess & full of sand- but he had tons of fun. Nothing a little water can't wash away.

Helping...

Jaxson is such a good helper in the kitchen- he's always working so hard to make sure that the dogs water & food is just right.....not quite sure we're ready for the Food Network yet!

Copy Cat

So I've had a sinus infection & bronchitis for the last week- on top of the fun with allergies from cedar. Jaxson started this noise in the bathtub tonight & Scott decided he was mimicking me...real funny guys!
