Memorial Day

This Memorial Day was a busy one. Scott headed out early to the lot to chop up a bunch of cedar trees- several family members and friends joined- which he was very thankful for!

Jaxson and I made a visit out to the lot to drop off water & headed to the back of the neighborhood to check out how the San Gabriel River was looking after the rain from the day before.

Then after a afternoon nap we met up with Bodie, Stacey and Reagan at the Sprinkler Park. My hopes of Jaxson loving the park were quickly shot when he was overwhelmed with the many screaming kids and cold shooting water. Ms. Reagan loved the water! She's such a cutie, hopefully Jaxson will have a better visit next time.

We finished off the night at the Round Rock Express game where PoPo was part of a Memorial Day ceremony before the game. It was Jaxson's first baseball game & he loved yelling "All Ball" and clapping....for both teams. Oh well :)

Batter Up!

I call this the Spit Ball!

San Antonio Zoo

Friday we headed out of town to San Antonio to visit Justin & Whitney Raines. While we were there we made a visit to the San Antonio Zoo- it was so much fun!

After a nap, bath and a snack Jaxson was ready to run around with Mia in the backyard.

It was a great trip and so nice to get to visit with our friends.

Graduation

Today is Jaxson's last day in the Infant room at school. Starting next Tuesday he and his buddy Wyatt will be transitioning into the toddler room. Here is a picture from this morning with his morning teachers- Angie and Sarah.

These girls are so amazing and we are so thankful for them! Acorn Learning Academy has been a blessing to us!!

Blue Hole

Today Scott had to go out to the land to work on a few things so Jaxson & I took a little trip over to Blue Hole here in Georgetown. The weather was perfect! We threw rocks, had a snack , stomped around in the water and Jaxson got nice and wet. We'll have to go back again when Scott can come with us.

Mother's Day 2009

I had a wonderful Mother's Day today, I started the day off by waking up to Scott and a dozen roses.

Followed by coffee and donuts, a relaxing shower and Mr. Jaxson sleeping in late.
Then we hung outside before leaving for brunch.

Jaxson made me this adorable gift at day care.

After brunch at Steph & Jareds, Jaxson ran through the sprinkler in the backyard.

We headed home for a long nap & then over to HEB where we raced through for our weekly groceries.

Scott made spaghetti for dinner.

After a bath to get the spaghetti off, the Little Man was kissably clean.

It was a perfect Mother's Day, this little man makes being a mom so wonderful.

Captain Jaxson

On Saturday we went out on Lake Georgetown with Jared and Stephanie. Jaxson was not so sure of the whole boating thing and wearing a life jacket in the freezing cold weather. But he perked up once Uncle Jared let him be captain of the boat.

Muffins with Mom

Today Jaxson's school had Muffins with Mom- it was fun for Jaxson to sit at the big kid table and enjoy breakfast with Mom. I enjoyed his cheesy smiles for the camera, he makes my day with those smiles!

Bath time with the dogs...

I went to give Marley a bath, Jaxson decided he needed to be in the bathtub helping me- it was quite funny!

Next up was Tanner- of course Jaxson had to be in the tub helping out with Tanner too. During Tanner's bath he figured out how to turn the shower on & completely soaked himself- he thought it was funny though.

Park

Today we went to the Round Rock park, the weather was perfect and we enjoyed the walk around the park. There was a group of ducks that were out near the water and Jaxson showed us just how little fear he has when he's around animals. He wanted to get as close as he could and probably would have pet them if he could. He followed them around saying "Quack, Quack, Quack", it was quite cute!
