The Rangers

Here's a mixture of pictures from Saturday's game....blogger is doing some weird formatting and I'm not interested in wasting time messing with it- so here's the odd mixture of pictures..... The rangers won the game again! The team did awesome! Sitting on the sidelines and watching your child play in such a fun sport is so incredible. Scott is the first base coach and he says his adrenaline is going the whole time. To see the kids do so great so early in the season and win is incredible! I am so glad Jaxson decided to do coach pitch, we....and he....are having a blast!

School Rodeo

Friday was Jaxson's school rodeo- you know you are in a country school when you get a note home asking to bring your animals up for the school rodeo :) I was so excited to get the afternoon off to hang out with Jaxson at his school. They had so many fun things for the kids. The weather was great and it was awesome to be there with him.

After the rodeo we stopped for a special treat at Sonic. Jaxson loved his little afternoon with just Mom, I did too!

Opening ceremonies

Saturday morning was the official opening ceremonies for the season. Have I mentioned how much I love Liberty Hill! The sense of family and community is awesome! I love where we live and we feel so blessed to have our kids involved in groups like this that share our values.

Side story....the ceremonies were on one field but they had the kids lined up on the field next to it. So the announcer is going through is routine of info, etc and you hear this screaming coming from where the kids are at. The sprinklers had turned on and were soaking the kids along the fence line. It really was SO funny!

So each team gets announced on to the field and they get their applause as they run around the bases to meet up with the line up of teams.

After all of the teams were on the field a local pastor from one of the churches came up to give a awesome speech and a prayer. Living so close to a town that is so cautious of making sure every event is "PC" I thought this was so awesome! To me it was such a great representation of throwing all of that aside and focusing on what is important! I loved that!
These are all of the kids from our street that are playing ball- Jaxson is the only one the played up into the Coach pitch league.

First Game of the season

Thursday was the first game of the season and the Rangers were up on the field ready to win the game!

Jaxson had a massive piece of gum in his mouth at this point :) But every good ball player plays their best with gum....right?
The kids did so great...and they won!
