Catching up via iphone Pics!

Well things have been crazy around here- we have been so out of synch for weeks- my type A personality does not do well with being out of synch! Between long busy days at work, to just trying to manage a world of two busy kiddos- a lot of things have been put on the back burner. I've certainly had to learn to just let some things go to keep from getting stressed out. Anyways- that's a long way of saying- this blog has been the last thing on my long "to do" list. So here's a quick iphone dump of all of our happenings over the last few weeks.

Despite the long busy days and stressful list of - must get dones....I'm loving evening walks the my kiddos, sitting around watching them love each other and melting in the moments of their adorableness :)

All About Me

We had a school project a few weeks ago- to complete a "All About Me" board. It was so much fun for Jaxson planning for the board. They had some sample questions that we used and created our inspiration from. There was no doubt that Texas A&M and football would be what he wanted as the focus of his board.

These projects typically turn into more of a - how creative is mom - project than anything. We made a trip to Hobby Lobby and away we went.

He was so excited to show off his board and his teacher said he did a great job doing his "presentation". I sure would have loved to hear what he had to say. So much fun with this little guy!

The Wagon

We have been loving the gorgeous weather and walks with our wagon. These are all cell pics so the quality isn't that great. But seriously how precious are these two! I love watching them play together and love each other! What a blessing!

Galveston 2012- Day 4

Before we headed back home from our wonderful vacation weekend we had to take one trip to the Strand to hit up La Kings. I mean who doesn't need 5 pounds of candy in their system before they have to sit in the car for hours!!

The selections were delicious of course! It's so nice to see such a neat place with such great history!

Galveston 2012- Day 3

Day 3 brought an incredibly beautiful morning and what better way to start the day than a walk on the beach.

It was so nice being so close to the beach and to have Jaxson's bike to go cruising around in. Bailey loved riding in the stroller and kicking her legs. I just LOVE this picture, this was taken with my cell phone. The sun was so blinding I could hardly see what it looked like until we got back to the house. Right in the middle of the clouds is a seagull flying, just gorgeous!!!

Every walk on the beach should including walking in the water...and holding your shorts up so you don't get them wet. Look at those little bird legs :)

After another incredible breakfast we loaded our gear back up for another great day in the water.

The tide was a little wild that day, but it certainly didn't stop the crew from having a great time! Nathan even got a little zinger from a jellyfish!

Bailey again was a little more reserved about the water.

We did spend more time inside this day instead of in the water, but with this sweet face- who cares!!

Everyone was nice and worn out from the fun day! A walk to the beach later in the day resulted in quite a few people in the water in their clothes...they just couldn't get enough! So fun!
