Christmas 2012

Yesterday we started the morning very early by a very excited Jaxson announcing that "Santa came, Santa came". We had such a nice day celebrating our first Christmas as a family of four. Here's some picture highlights of our day:

Our big gifts this year included a new bike for Jaxson and a Princess Coupe for Bailey. We did a little puzzle to direct them to the big boxes. They were both excited! Daddy had "some assembly required" on both gifts and resulted in two very happy kiddos.

We spent Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas afternoon with Scott's family. We were all spoiled with gifts and our tummies were stuffed with sweets. There is nothing greater during the holidays than to spend it with our families. Scott and I are both off this week and are certainly enjoying the time together as a family!

Happy 5th Birthday to our incredible Jaxson!

Every year that this day rolls around I am always so emotional! Jaxson you have developed into the most incredible little man that we are beyond privileged to call our son! The day you came into this world we jumped for joy at the blessing of that moment.

Every day with you is filled with laughter, surprises, interesting conversations, sports, creativity and the sweetest biggest heart I have seen. Your desire to learn and your ability to remember things amazes me. Daddy and I are so excited for what is to come this next year as you begin school.

Today is your day, your celebration, your moment in the spotlight and I hope it is the best one yet! We love you big time buddy!!

5th Birthday Party!

Yesterday we celebrated Jaxson's 5th birthday (a few days early) at the great land of Chuck E. Cheese. When I asked him where he wanted to have his birthday he said Chuck E. Cheese and "I want Texas A&M on the cake". So...challenge number one was combining the two into something cute. So the great world of Etsy led me to a very talented lady who gave us the cutest invitations EVER!!

And thanks to a very talented friend the cake combo turned out pretty cute too!

I was a little hesitant on the whole Chuck E. Cheese thing, but I have to say that it turned out great! We had a great combo of friends who joined us for the fun!

They give you a party pal who was fabulous and the birthday boy was given lots of attention.
