Catching up

Trying to catch up on all of the fun pictures and great things that make me smile.

Jaxson has had a great spring baseball season on the Red Sox, Scott is an assistant coach and they've had a fun season. Each game doesn't always equal a win but its fun regardless. We are excited to see what the official announcement will be regarding Allstars.
One of Jaxson's Christmas presents was tickets to the Spring Season training game in San Antonio for the Rangers. They had such a great time! Jaxson said seeing the World Series trophy made it the best day ever.
For Easter we did something different and went out of town to one of the Jellystone camp grounds. We rented this perfect little cabin and had the best weekend ever!
The annual bluebonnet picture on our way to the river in the neighborhood. Beautiful day to be out as a family!
For Mom's 60th birthday we celebrated big! We were so lucky to have Nikki in town to make it extra special. We started off with dinner and swimming at our house
                               '
Then headed off for a fun girls weekend on the Riverwalk! We had a great hotel, great food, great memories...just all around great! Exactly what we needed!
We ate dinner at the top of the Tower, this was so cool how the floor moves and you get to see the whole city! We will be back for sure!
Bailey's dance group had their first performance at the Red Poppy Festival, she was SO excited! She looked so gorgeous! She loved putting on all of the makeup, especially the red lipstick!
I went to a Women's Conference for work that one of my customers sponsored and each person that attended got free tickets to the Valero Texas Open PGA event at the JW Marriot in San Antonio. It was one of those once in a life time things that Scott and I could not pass up. We had such a great time- golf is so much more interesting at an event like this!
I totally got in trouble for taking pictures of the player while he was putting...oh well :)

Polar Express Birthday Party

When Bailey started planning her birthday party she told me that she wanted to keep all of the Christmas decorations up and have a Christmas birthday party. And then that idea turned into a Christmas Hello Kitty Birthday party. We compromised and came up with a Polar Express Birthday Party where she could wear her favorite Hello Kitty pajamas to. She was so excited for her birthday, she loves parties...especially ones for her! She almost started crying when we took down the 9 foot Christmas tree- but we did leave out a few special decorations for her party.

Another very specific request she had was the cake- she wanted a blue cake with clouds and a train going around it. Thanks to the wide world of Pinterest I was able to find just that design and the cake lady we used did a fantastic job!!

The party was so cute! She had so many friends from school and outside of school come to celebrate with her. We did a snowflake craft...Bailey loves stickers so this was so much fun for her.
After that we sugared them up with decorating sugar cookies

This was such a fun birthday party for our special little girl!

Christmas Break & Christmas 2015

We had a busy Christmas this year, I feel like my pictures are all over the place or I don't have any at all. Either way we had a great time and enjoyed the time together. First off was a trip to Katy to visit the Shannon's and this cutie Wyatt. The girls had a blast getting to spend time together and I got to snuggle with this cutie and spend a full day with Natalie- what a blessing to get that time together!

Next up was filling the house with sugar cookies, I had the best & cutest baker around to help me with the cookies.

There wasn't exactly a winter wonderland around here- its Texas when is it ever. It was more like in the 70's and shorts weather. So we enjoyed walking the dogs, riding bikes & the kids tried a little tree climbing.
Since the weather was so wonderful we headed to downtown Georgetown for dinner outside and walking the square to enjoy the Christmas lights.
We kept to our tradition of baking cinnamon rolls on Christmas Eve. They were yet again AMAZING!
Christmas eve we headed off to church and back to our house for Christmas eve meal with the Richters and presents. We were so busy eating that these are the only pictures I got of that night- Jaxson changed as soon as his toes hit the carpet but they were still so cute and sweet in this picture!
The kids did a great job putting together snacks for Santa & the reindeer
Trying to get a picture looks a little like this in reality....
Marley & Tanner are trying to devise an escape from being so close to Lucy.
That night I got the best gift of all- sitting on the couch with my man staring at this beautiful tree. It doesn't get any better.
Even the dogs enjoyed the quiet time.
Santa was really good to these two!

Jaxson woke everyone up before 6:30 & they were through all their gifts before 7 am. I love their expressions in these pictures.

We got them both bean bag chairs- they've been staring at these huge boxes wondering what was inside.
Christmas day we headed over to the Powers to do Christmas over there. Nikki & Gabe were in town- we taught them how to play Heads Up. It was quite interesting to watch the kids try...we let them win :)

After Christmas we were back to crappy weather so we decided to take the kids to a movie. Bailey cracks me up with her outfit selection for the day.
The week of New Years Jaxson went to the Round Rock Express holiday camp. He did great and had a lot of fun. It was so cool to get to see him inside the cages, on the field and walking around where the Express play. It was three days of fun and he had a blast!
This is a picture of Jaxson huddled under our bed trying to get some quiet time away from Bailey. I think the fact that she knew he didn't want to be near her made her push at him even more. They have good days and bad- this was just plain funny! Real life people...

We wrapped up our Christmas with a trip to the farm for the Richters. The weather was brutal...seriously cold. Thankfully we had Chili so that made it all better. Its always laughs and smiles with the cousins. Aunt Kat gave Jaxson her Packers Jersey & Green Bay hat...he's worn it every week! So special!
And that's a wrap, it was full, it was memorable and it was with family.
