Cousins

Jaxson just LOVES his new cousin Ian. He was so precious holding him so gently and speaking so quietly to Ian. Jaxson told me that he loves Ian and he even got to hold his hand.

We are so excited about this cute little addition and are loving seeing the growing family!

Phone Pics

Scott said I've been a blog slacker...true, but sometimes its nice to have nothing going on..which generally results in nothing to blog about. Last year I made a upgrade to the Iphone, today I discovered the coolest picture editing app...which resulted in these pictures. Enjoy!

Circus Day

Today we went to the Circus- it was awesome! Jaxson had a blast, he really took it all in and it was so cute hearing him re-cap what he saw at the circus.
I would have like to see more animals than the dance routines from the skimpy dressed performing girls...but that's just my opinion! The elephant performances were awesome, the motorcycle jumps were amazing and the human cannonball...you had to be there to experience that first hand. Here's some pics from our Circus show and a cute video of the elephants.

Baby Ian

Sunday we had a great celebration for the upcoming addition to the Spataro family, Baby Ian. We are of course all excited- I'm particularly excited because he will be my first nephew and Jaxson's first cousin! Stephanie had so many awesome friends and family join the party. It was so great to get to meet everyone. They got so many adorable things, little Ian is set and she is all ready for his arrival.

2010 The Year That Moved

Over the last few days I've been trying to figure out the best way to wrap up our 2010 and I've finally figured it out...its "The Year that Moved".

January rang in the new year with lots of movement on the construction of our house- the rain had finally ended and things were moving right along.
In February a few raccoons decided to move into our house and make themselves at home- and after a few errors in their removal- we safely relocated their humble abode.
March we were moved to visit a new church regularly and our whole family has been moved spiritually by our involvement with this new church.
The next few months included some job movements on my part- later to be realized as some very good moves in the end!
April brought the biggest move of all as we moved into our new home and started unpacking the many boxes that had been stored away for the last 13 months.
May brought a big change for Jaxson as he moved out of diapers and into big boy underwear's!
June brought lots of movement in the water as Jaxson completed his first swimming lessons class.
July brought celebrations as we celebrated 6 years of being married! July was also the month that I moved back to work at Dell- with an awesome new schedule that works great for our family!
August brought a big move for Scott as his company asked him to start a model home in a new neighborhood- a big move for him as he's been in the same neighborhood for the last 4 years. This move will bring him a shorter commute!
September I was moved to take my photography passion to a new level and photographed several cuties!
October I finally revealed my photography business blog and ironed out some details on getting that in place.
November brought our first family vacation as we traveled to Colorado- lots of great memories came from that trip.
December brought more movement as Jaxson turned 3!

I'm sure there are a whole lot more details of our year but these are the highlights of our "Year that Moved". All of these movements were pretty scary at the time, but we all know there is a plan greater than we ever know...and thankfully that plan has worked out very well.
I'm really hoping 2011 has a little LESS movement than 2010!!!!

Swing Set

Most of Jaxson's gifts this past birthday and Christmas required some assembly...but this one took the award for the most assembly required. Nana and Bunca designed and built this awesome swing set- its a work in progress as we can add to it over the years.

Jaxson helped with the digging...well maybe he just moved around some dirt, but his efforts were appreciated.

Uncle Jared helped us see if the hole was deep enough....with Jaxson's help of course!

Everything must be tested prior to final assembly...

It was quite a team effort- even a very pregnant Aunt Stephanie helped out on the work.

The end result is a whole lot of smiles from this little guy and that makes it all worth it in the end!
