The Oasis

We met up with some great friends at The Oasis last night. It was SO hot, but the company of our friends made it all worthwhile. This was also Jaxson's first visit to the Oasis and he did great!

Catching Up...

I think this is the longest stretch I've been on lately without blogging, and of course it's Scott that reminds me that I'm behind. So....what have we been up to...well keeping up with a three year old is enough to keep your schedule busy.

He's constantly on the go and every day is filled with laughter when he is around, he is such an awesome kid!! He tells us the funniest stuff and always wants to be sure you're listening to everything that he says, yesterday he was talking non-stop on the drive home and I pretty much tuned him out and he caught me "mommy can you hear what I'm saying".

Jaxson has really taken to dancing to music lately and has the most amazing Elvis skills! Oh my gosh he's so funny about dancing, he has no shame about it or who is around he hears a tune and away he goes.

In a few short weeks Jaxson will be starting his first summer of T-ball at the YMCA and daddy is going to be the coach! Scott is so excited and I can't wait to sit in the stands and cheer on both of them! Jaxson and daddy play baseball almost every night. He's really good with the t-ball stand and awesome at slow pitch, he has such an amazing talent at only three years old! Their team is called the Sand Gnats (were the options that slim is what I'm wondering)...not sure who picked that but Scott's glad their color is green.

Jaxson got this baseball helmet from our awesome neighbors and would not let it out of his sight for the first 24 hours. It slept with him, rode in the car, he'd wear it in bed while watching cartoons, he was a "real baseball player with the helmet on". He's all about "What baseball players do". This plays in nicely when we need to get him to eat his dinner (do baseball players also wear cowboy boots...cause this one does).

A little over a week ago we had an exciting moment at the house when a mama deer delivered her baby right outside our fence. We saw it take its first steps which was so cool to watch.

Scott and I both have been really busy at work, but things seem to be slowing down a little bit. We are SO ready for our family vacation in July...I'm counting the days!!

I think that catches us up for the most part, hopefully now that things are slower I'll get my camera out more and keep this up to date.

Mother's Day 2011

Mother's Day with this little man is so much fun. He's full of hugs, kisses and Happy Mother's Day Mama! Being a Mom is more rewarding than anyone could ever explain. I am so blessed to have an amazing example in my life in my Mom!

I thought it would be fun to see all pictures from all of the Mother's Day's over the past years.
