Christmas vacation week

This years Christmas vacation week was so nice, we had the perfect mix of time with our family, time with extended family and time with friends. Here's some pictures from our week of fun! Watching movies in the living room, the kids love making a pallet on the ground and munching away on popcorn!

The weather has been so nasty- cold and wet! The one day it was comfortable enough to be outside the kids layered up and went to burn off some energy!
Christmas Eve we did our second annual cinnamon roll baking- 64 rolls later we had plenty to share and plenty to enjoy. And enjoy we did...delicious!!!

Next we got all dressed up for Christmas Eve service at our church, it was the first service in our new building and it was AMAZING! We love our church and are so excited to see the amazing things that are to come with the new building! What a blessing!

After that we headed over to Nana and Bunca's for our Christmas eve gathering with them. It was so weird not having Nikki & Gabe there, but thanks to technology they were able to FaceTime with us which was really fun.
The kids ripped through their gifts first.
Nana had a scavenger hunt planned for the boys, which led to an amazing toy that kept them busy while the rest of us opened up our gifts.

Bailey kept the entertainment as well with a little karaoke.

Jaxson took care of the special note for Santa and the reindeer and the living room quickly filled up with gifts from Santa.
Jaxson surprised us Christmas morning (way too early in the morning) by letting us know that one of his teeth had fallen out- so he was up! He waited...and waited....and waited....for sleeping beauty to wake up...who technically could have used a few more hours to wake up a little happier. She's struggling to pull out a happy face here...

I like to call this the year of batteries required....(how cute are these pj's Jaxson got- he would have worn them all day if I let him)
Christmas evening we headed over to Grammie & Popo's house for Christmas with them.

The kids loved the special wrapping paper that Aunt Kat had for each of them.
But Jaxson freaked out at the coal that Uncle Steve brought for him (thankfully its chocolate which he LOVES)
When we got home the kids decided to try out a few of their new gifts.

We had another nasty day of weather, so we headed over to the bowling alley for some fun times. Both of the kids did great and Bailey had a blast- she kept saying "I win"

These pictures are too cute!

Christmas vacation week is over but we sure enjoyed the fun time with the kids, the family and our friends!
