Winter camping

The weekend of Scott's birthday we headed out to Inks Lake for a fun weekend of camping. It was quite chilly at night, but gorgeous during the day! We couldn't have asked for a better mix of weather. Everyone had a great time! I wanted to bring some Christmas lights to bring the Christmas spirit to the campsite, the lights were great to have since it gets really dark at night a lot earlier than when we camp during the summer.
We are always blessed with a beautiful sunset! I love the lake spot that Scott picked it's our favorite for the summers, but was great for our winter camping

The kids love jumping around on the beds. This time we didn't have a pack-n-play since Bailey is a big girl now, so they had an extra bed to play on. This went on every night, it was so awesome watching them laugh and play together!

I love this sequence of pictures, they love each other!

Our sweet friends Walter and Michelle came out to spend the day with us. The weather was gorgeous for several hiking trips. I love these pictures of the dogs, they always have a blast when they go camping with us. We wore them out!

Another beautiful sunset! Jaxson showed Michelle how he can win in Skip Bo, he loved it!

Our last day was a chilly morning, we tried to cook for the birthday boy- but he loves camp cooking!

We had such a great time camping and look forward to our next trip.
