A blog about Bailey....

Oh my goodness I love my kids, I couldn't imagine my life without them. They make each day so interesting and filled with so many moments of their unique personalities. Bailey is something else...her big personality is sure to light up your day.
Yesterday while getting ready for the shower she informed me that her toe was wet...she was sitting on the potty and apparently decided to dip her toe in the toilet...oh child!

She loves to tell the most elaborate detailed story that makes no sense at all- "one time i was playing with Sophia, in the dentist at the pool and the 28 bananas and the dog and the cat go meow and car then around the airplane into the sky" no clue, but sure!
Bailey is not a morning person, or a waking up happy person I should say. It always takes her a bit to get herself collected before she decides if she's going to be happy in the morning or a screaming disaster. Its always interesting....
She loves to color and frequently colors the floor, the table and a few other things not intended to be decorated. She also loves bandaids and stickers- which is funny because Jaxson hates both of those. I love the time we were eating out and she decided to decorate the sugar packets with stickers and put them back in the container. I'm certain her decoration made someone smile :)
She loves to dress up and especially loves tutus.. one weekend she wore a tutu everyday. I love it and love that her little tutus make people smile when they see her. She is such a girly girl and even loves wearing makeup...like chapstick which she calls lips.
Bailey has so much hair...and she refuses to cut it, even though I think she needs a little trim. The bottoms still curl and there is a TON of it! She always lets me know about her crazy hair. She has finally figured out how to tuck it behind her ear but still prefers to have it fixed right away in the morning.
This week Bailey moved up into the 3 year olds class at her school. She is so advanced and we knew she was ready. She was in tears yesterday when I went to pick her up because she wanted to stay longer and play. We are so excited about this new class and the extra things she will be learning. Each day she amazes us, its still crazy to think she is only 2.
Our kids have such a great relationship and nothing fills our hearts more than to hear them running around playing with each other and filling the house with their laughs. Each night she has to give Jaxson hugs and kisses before bed, its just precious!!
We are beyond blessed with these two. In this month of thankfulness I am certainly filled with thanks for these amazing gifts from God!

Pool update

This past week the masons arrived and have begun the transformation of the pool. We are so excited at how it is coming together and love how hard they are working to get us to the next phase. Jaxson loves coming home and running to see the changes. Its beautiful!!!

Watching them put these boulders in place was a little scary to watch. I could only snap this one picture and then I had to walk away. I can't believe they didn't drop one into the pool....okay, they are professionals this isn't their first time...but holy cow those boulders are HUGE!

Halloween Happenings

We've had a lot of fun at the various Halloween events this year. First up was the annual trunk or treat at Primrose. The kids had a blast and enjoyed the Halloween movie that they played after the trunk or treat was over.

Next up was carving our pumpkin- Scott hates the smell of the pumpkins when they are cut opened and thankfully the kids were much more helpful this year. Jaxson had the great idea to put on gloves which helped them with digging and cleaning.

The next event was the costume parade at Baileys school, it was so cute to see all of the kids in their adorable little outfits! Here's a few of her buddies from her class.

Jaxson and Bailey gave us the cheapest Halloween by far, and they still looked adorable in their outfits! Jaxson wanted to be a baseball player and wear his old uniform. We got the dance outfit from the lady I exercise with and that's exactly what Bailey wanted to be!
We had such a great time trick or treating with our neighbors this year. We all got together before hand for pizza and then loaded up on the trailers and golf carts to head out for the sugar fest. Seriously how cute are these kids! I love that we live on such an awesome street with so many kids that are close in age. They had a blast!!
All of the kids were running from one house to the other, they were on a candy mission! Once we got out of our street they spent more time on the trailer between houses as they were probably wore out!
The last Halloween event was a really fun adult party. The theme was decades and Scott I went as the 20's. I had a lot of fun picking out the costumes and really enjoyed the fun night with our friends.
