Swimming Graduation

Jaxson LOVED swimming lessons and was so excited to "graduate" yesterday in his final class for the summer. We are so proud of everything that he has learned and excited to see him develop these new skills...and more importantly gain tremendous confidence in the pool. Here's a few things that Jaxson loved about swimming:

He loved going first!

He loved using his goggles to look under the water

He loved splashing BIG!!

He loved swimming fast with the kick bar.

He loved floating on his back

He loved floating on his tummy

He LOVED jumping in off the ledge

He loved learning from these sweet ladies and getting his certificate!

Chutes & Ladders

We played a family game of Chutes & Ladders. I just loved the sunlight coming into the dining room while we were playing, I had to grab my camera. Jaxson won...Bailey let him :)

New Trick: Rolling

Big Tub

Yesterday I put Bailey in our big tub for the first time. She's been squirming around in the little tub for a while now and until she's ready to sit up I thought I'd try out the big tub and see how she did. The look on her face when she realized her freedom in there was priceless!! She got the biggest grin on her face and let out the sweetest little giggle. She was all over that tub, splashing away and kicking her sweet legs. We got a kick out of watching her experience the big tub for the first time!

At the lake...

We had so much fun Saturday hanging out at the lake with Jared, Stephanie and Ian. Jaxson loves the lake! He was a little confused thinking we were going to the lake in Minnesota...I think the short 10 minute drive was much better than the 22 hour drive to Minnesota!!

This was Bailey's first visit to the lake and the first time to go swimming. She looked too cute in her adorable swimming suit....love those rolls!

The initial dip was a little chilly, but given the triple digit temperatures outside of the water...she quickly realized the cool water felt great!
