Uncle Steve & Kat got Jaxson this adorable Kenneth Cole outfit for Christmas- he's finally fitting into pieces of the outfit. I just couldn't resist catching a picture of him looking so handsome this morning for church!

Chatty, Chatty

Jaxson amazes us each day with how much more he talks day after day. Most of it is gibberish that makes no sense, some of it is words that only we understand, but each day he's mimicing us more and more. Earlier this week Scott was putting something into the oven & told Jaxson it was "hot"- he now says hot...actually sometimes it sounds like "Ahh-t", which is equally cute! Last night I was giving him a bath & putting bubbles on his head, after many versions of bubble he finally figured out how to say bubble.
The cutest was last night when I was driving back from being out of town- Scott gave Jaxson the phone to talk to me. Usually he'll just press the buttons or hang up the phone, but he actually carried on a conversation. Scott said he was stanging there holding the phone with one hand up to his face and just chatting away. I'd say something & then he'd start talking. Scott said it was pointing in the air, looking into the sky and actually making hand movements as if he was really telling me about something. I'm not sure how long the conversation lasted before he hung up on me, but it was SO cute to listen to!

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter with Jaxson. The easter bunny delivered a basket full of goodies- Jaxson enjoyed the gifts for a while, but really enjoyed pulling the basket stuffing out & spreading it all over the floor. We started the morning with church with the Powers side of the family, lunch and easter egg hunt- then headed home for a good nap to re-generate the little man. We finished off the day with dinner and easter egg hunt with the Richter side of the family. It was a great day & Jaxson was a trooper doing the "holiday shuffle" going to see everyone.

The Bluebonnets

Today we found a good patch of bluebonnets worth taking pictures in. I was so excited to capture some adorable pictures. We headed over there after Jaxson's haircut- all started out fine- and then as any 15 month old would do....he wanted to have NOTHING to do with the bluebonnets. Luckily we did catch a few good shots during the happy moments.

Day Trip

Today we made a day trip into the hill country. We headed out to Marble Falls where we stopped off at this shop that had a rodeo area in the back and a couple of horses. Then we headed out to Longhorn Cavern State Park where we took a little walk on the trails out there. Then we finished off our little trip with lunch at a cafe in Burnet. I had hopes to see bluebonnets on our trip- but no such luck. It was a nice little day trip.
When we were at the Longhorn Cavern we stopped to walk around this old house on the trail, Jaxson took the wagon and was trying to pull it himself. I'm not sure why but he decided to lay down on the ground while pulling his wagon- it was quite hilarious!

Funny Kid

Got Milk? Funny moments with Tanner (he's not hurting him, Tanner just makes weird noises when Jaxson gets near him- I'm glad Jaxson thinks its funny)
