Galveston 2012 Day 1

We have been itching for a vacation..even if a quick one, we just needed to get away for a few days away. Who better to spend a great weekend with than our incredibly awesome neighbors! After quickly unloading our bags we immediately went to the beach to sink our toes in the sand!

That night we headed over to the Rainforest Cafe for a fun dinner experience. The ratings were that the atmosphere was great, but the food wasn't so great....let's just say the ratings were spot on. But yes, the atmosphere was great. I mean seriously how cool is this!

There was a thunderstorm every 30 minutes and gorillas and elephants that would randomly come to life. The kids even had a water ride that they took around the building with alligators.

Day one was a success, and we were ready for a fun day at the beach for day 2.
