Opening ceremonies

Saturday morning was the official opening ceremonies for the season. Have I mentioned how much I love Liberty Hill! The sense of family and community is awesome! I love where we live and we feel so blessed to have our kids involved in groups like this that share our values.

Side story....the ceremonies were on one field but they had the kids lined up on the field next to it. So the announcer is going through is routine of info, etc and you hear this screaming coming from where the kids are at. The sprinklers had turned on and were soaking the kids along the fence line. It really was SO funny!

So each team gets announced on to the field and they get their applause as they run around the bases to meet up with the line up of teams.

After all of the teams were on the field a local pastor from one of the churches came up to give a awesome speech and a prayer. Living so close to a town that is so cautious of making sure every event is "PC" I thought this was so awesome! To me it was such a great representation of throwing all of that aside and focusing on what is important! I loved that!
These are all of the kids from our street that are playing ball- Jaxson is the only one the played up into the Coach pitch league.
