First tooth!

Jaxson has had a loose tooth for weeks, each week it seemed to dangle just a little bit more. I tried so many ways to get him to push the tooth to the point that the last root would pop and let that baby tooth go...but no luck. We never wanted him to be in pain and associate losing teeth as being a painful thing, so we let the tooth dangle a little more each day. Well this morning he comes out from brushing his teeth and had one less tooth to clean! The bad part is he must have brushed pretty vigorously and popped it out while brushing his teeth...And then spit it down the sink. Sweet dad came to the rescue and took apart the drain to hopefully find the tooth...but no luck:( 

Jaxson was so sad, but we convinced him it was okay and the tooth fairy would still come. What an eventful morning we had today! Maybe next time he'll be more willing to pop it out sooner :)
