Lake Trip- Day Two

Day two was filled with a whole lot of F-U-N! Jaxson woke up around 8am and between 8am and noon he had- gone swimming, rode in the paddle boat, went for a boat ride, went fishing, caught a fish and went cruising in a seacraft plane. This kid has it rough let me tell you :)

Bailey had a blast in the water and the sand. She wasn't too sure about the boat ride as she wasn't quite a fan of her life jacket at that point.
So the story on the seacraft plane- my dad knows people who have toys is really the short story of it :) The long story is - this is a friend of his who used to beef up the engines in the race cars that Dad used to race. This guy, Al, now builds the engines and holds the patents for the engines in the Articat Snowmobiles that race in events like the X-games. Clearly his love for toys and all things that go fast carried over beyond his youth years. Al has owned several planes and this is newest one, which was built in the 1940's- you'd never know, it was in incredible condition! Al came over multiple times during our stay to "play" with whoever wanted to go for a cruise. Jaxson and Scott had the time of their lives...who wouldn't!!!

Alright so if this day of fun wasn't already at its ultimate high...the F-U-N continues! My uncle Mark has a guy who plays at his golf course and they race cars at a track a few hours away. So the boys load up for a afternoon adventure to the race tracks. These cars of course were too much for Jaxson to ride in, but you better believe Scott strapped in for that 115 mph cruise around the track over, and over, and over again!! Jaxson got to do a few things in the pit crew to add to the little adventure.

What a day! And of course our wonderful day is closed by a gorgeous sunset! AHHHH, the lake is the best!!!
