I have so many pictures from our Lake Vacation it's hard to even try to figure out where to start. We had such a great time! Some people thought we were crazy for driving but I'm telling you we have the best travelers ever! We were up and the wheels were rolling at 6am!
I made these travel activity binders for the kids which kept them busy on both trips.
We stopped in Oklahoma for lunch and did a picnic and a little running!
Day 1 we spent 13 hours driving and made it to Omaha in time to eat, swim and get rested up for our last leg of the trip. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool- the chlorine level vs the pool at our house was insane!
Day 2 of travel was a lot less hours, we arrived with plenty of time to play and have the afternoon/evening at the house.
The next day brought some relaxing, some working on the beach area, a ride on the lake and last but not least a sunset. There were fires in Canada that caused smoke/smog in the area so the sunset wasn't quite as bright as usual.
