Father's Day 2013

We took a fun little trip down South of Austin for our Father's Day adventure. Our first stop was Cabela's, the kids had a blast and so did daddy!

Bailey loved all of the deer... "puppies" that were around the building.
Next stop for our fun filled day was for lunch at Brewster's Pizza in Wimberly
This place is owned and operated by a guy who used to play for the San Fransisco 49er's and even won a Super Bowl. They have a huge family with 13 kids who all run the place as a family. They had lots of kid friendly activities which was awesome while we waited for our pizza.

In addition to fabulous pizza they also make their own beer. We got a sampler, the dark one had coffee and cholate in it. Pretty cool place I would go back for sure!
The final destination was supposed to be the Blue Hole in Wimberly for a afternoon of swimming, however they were over capacity and it would be an hour before we could go in there. So we headed for plan B, Jacob's Well. Also a swimming hole, however I will say that the pictures online look MUCH better than the actual place is. The cool water was nice given how hot it was, but our visit was very short...for many reasons.

Our day overall had a few kinks and unexpected issues...but we were together, making memories and loving on our Daddy big time! We will have to re-do the Blue Hole trip I think that'll be a awesome place to experience. Our fun little day trip was a nice way to celebrate the day. Sorry I'm a little behind on this one :)
