Colorado Vacation- Day 1

Day 1 of our Colorado Vacation started off at Focus on the Family headquarters for a little indoor play in their amazing children's area. They have this really cool slide that starts at the top floor of their building- goes outside of the building circling around and around and then drops back off on the bottom floor. Since Jaxson wasn't tall enough to go on the slide I took a quick ride...and squealed the whole way down. It was a lot of fun.

That afternoon we headed out for the long ride up to the top of Pike's Peak.

We made a few pit stops at a few amazing photographic spots along the way.

We saw snow...and a lot of ice at the top. Jaxson wasn't that interested.

The views at the top were amazing. It was also amazingly cold and none of us lasted outside for very long. The altitude also hit Scott & I pretty good so going inside to sit was a must.

Day 1 was a success with lots of great memories!
