Halloween 2013

The night before Halloween Jaxson decided he needed to be a football player, he didn't care if he was missing pieces to a actual football players outfit - he had the helmet and that was all he needed. Super Mom might have run around town to fulfill this last minute request, but I decided he could either wear one of the 7 costumes we own or make something work for his football request. So here you have it...Jaxson's version of a perfect football Halloween outfit. He was happy and that's all that matters.
We bribed Bailey with a tootsie roll to get her into her costume...and so the "snacking" for the night began.
She wanted to try the "snack" at every house we went to, no fear, nothing- she was on a mission! Get the snack, smile, act cute and consume until the next house.
We traveled the street with our favorite cutie Hannah.
We know so many more people on our street so getting out for Halloween was a lot of fun to get to stop and visit with the neighbors. Not so sure Jaxson enjoyed the frequent stops but we all had fun. Every year I put a large basket of candy on the porch in the hopes that it will be empty when I arrive home- but every year there's still more candy than I would expect. Maybe next year I'll put up a sign that says "empty me"!
