Five Months Old!
Our precious little Bailey is five months old today! What a fun month it has been! There have been so many firsts and milestones this past month it has been so much fun!
Bailey has developed more and more the sweetest little personality. She is such a happy baby and we LOVE the many smiles she shares. She is still a little chatter box always "talking" and making noises. Bailey lights up when Jaxson comes around, he is SO in love with her. They are too precious together!! Each month brings new excitement with our sweet Bailey and we are loving every minute of her!!
Bailey went on a swing and swimming for the first time. She loved both! She has also moved out of the baby tub temporarily and is taking baths in the big tub. Her strong legs showed us how she could spring around in the baby tub so we decided it was time to change into the big tub. She loves the freedom in the big tub and loves moving around and splashing.
This month she also mastered rolling from her stomach to her back. She now does this really quickly, I don't see her being a stomach sleeper any time soon! She's so close to rolling from her back to her stomach, that little arm just keeps getting in the way. If you give her your finger to hold onto she can roll all the way over and pop that arm out, but she hasn't quite mastered this one on her own. She's a squirmy one that's for sure! She's always using her strong legs to push her self around on her back.
This month has also started teething, nothing has come through yet but there has been a lot of drool and you can tell she's really uncomfortable. This month she's also slept through the night more than not, which has been really nice. Overall she's a great sleeper so I can't complain.
We are still in 3-6 month clothes, but some of the Carters sizes are running a little small so we'll likely be retiring those and going into the 6-9 months of that brand. She's still in the size 2 diapers, but I think my next purchase will be the size 3 as she's right on the edge of the weight for the next size up.
