Happy New Years!

We hope you all had a very Happy New Years and all arrived home safely too! It's hard to believe that its already 2009- I can remember being half asleep with Scott on the couch waiting to see what was going to happen when the clocks rolled over to 2000! Time flies!
We spent our New Years Eve doing something very "Austin" as we call it- we went downtown to the First Night Austin celebration. We walked the bridge & saw all of the interesting forms for "art" that were going on- some of them I really question how that could have been art. We ran into Nana & Grandpa Sir just in time to have them join us for a nice dinner on the patio of a pizzaria downtown. Afterwards we enjoyed the sites of a parade & ended the night with the burning of the clock on Auditorium shores. People watching was by far the best part of the night- Austin sure has a mix of some weird souls! All in all it was a great night- just to get out & do something we haven't done, doing it as a family & making new memories.
We look forward to what 2009 has in store & all of the memories to be made.
